Never had any carpeting in the trunk area, so I decided to make one myself. It turned out pretty decent I think.
And this is how it looked before
Pretty happy how it turned out.

Nice. Do you have any plans to get a piece of pressboard to use as a spare cover under the carpet?

Next step: replace the lifts so you don’t need that piece of wood? I’ve found the original parts number, using the data they provide I’m sure you can find something equivalent locally: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X6895029415.TRS0&_nkw=6895029415&_sacat=0

Yes, I found someone on marktplaats selling parts for these Celica’s, and am talking about some parts including these lifts.
It is not that neccesary since this is just a weekend cruiser mostly, but it would look a lot better when working right.

I still have the oem one with the thing you can tighten it with! it is under the carpet in the pictures. I am planning to make a wood bottom so the carpet looks flatter.
